CURRENT and Beckwith Electric will deliver turnkey solutions that unlock the full operational and economic power of a smart electric grid. Beckwith Electric provides industry leading regulator controls and capacitor bank controls to enable command and control of distribution system devices.

CURRENT is a member of Cisco Systems Smart Grid ecosystem to promote end-to-end Smart Grid communications infrastructure based on open IP standards in order to reduce the cost and complexity of deploying multi-vendor Smart Grid communications solutions for customers. 

Landis+Gyr and CURRENT have joined efforts to deliver standards-based smart grid solutions by integrating CURRENT's PRIME technology into the Landis+Gyr Gridstream advanced product line. Together with CURRENT Landis+Gyr will build a PRIME interoperable path, which will support utilities - either directly or in stages - in implementing the smart grid.

Novabase and CURRENT's European entity CURRENT Technologies International GmbH, will leverage their core capabilities to deliver joint smart grid solutions to Portugal. Novabase will provide professional services including integration and value-added offerings associated with Distribution Smart Grid along with advanced IT security consulting services to help electric utilities identify and mitigate risks to assets, including infrastructure as well as data, applications, IT systems and networks.

CURRENT and Tendril will offer interoperable solutions that will maximize the efficiency of the electric distribution system and allow customers to become more efficient with their energy usage. Tendril provides a comprehensive suite of energy management applications and family of in-home hardware.

CURRENT and Verizon will leverage their core capabilities to deliver a joint smart grid solution. Verizon provides wireless and IP network services, managed network and security services, and advanced IT security consulting services.
